What is GDPR and when will it take effect?
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU).

What information does the GDPR apply to?
The GDPR applies to ‘personal data’, which means any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier.
Who does the GDPR apply to?
The GDPR applies to ‘controllers’ and ‘processors’.
A controller determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.
A processor is responsible for processing personal data on behalf of a controller.
Does the GDPR only apply to EU organizations?
The GDPR applies to processing carried out by organizations operating within the EU. It also applies to organizations outside the EU that offer goods or services to individuals in the EU.
Will Easy Rent Pro comply with GDPR?
Yes. According to the GDPR, Easy Rent Pro is a data processor and controller. This means that we intend to comply with our GDPR obligations in all respects. Our entire business is aware of our GDPR obligations and therefore all processes and systems have been adjusted to comply with GDPR.
Will my business automatically comply with GDPR, when Easy Rent Pro is compliant?
